In celebration of the New Year I've recorded a cover of the Frank Loesser song "What are you doing New Years Eve?" (made famous by the Orioles.)  Find a stream of it below

2013 is going to be our year.  Right guys??

Look out for another new cover song sometime later this week! (Thursday)

If you are in the Minneapolis area and have no NYE plans check out the Springstreet Tavern where I'll be playing with the White Dads! Check here for more details:

I've added a set of 8 songs of Hannah and the Hanbones - Live at the Santa Fe Complex in Santa Fe, NM. I believe the show was April-ish 2011.  I recorded and mixed it for KSFR Santa Fe Public Radio and the show was a fundraiser for The Youth Media Project.

Hannah and the Hanbones are:

Hannah Underwood: Vocals
Greg Butera: Fiddle, Guitar, Vocals
Benito Plaza: Guitar
Ben McMahon: Bass
Bryan Highhill: Drums

Gram Bass is a band of friends that I went to high school with.  Most of them except for Rocky (bass; who unfortunately could not make it) got together to record some songs with me a few months back.  I figured it would be a great release to launch my new site with.  So this is the final product.  It is 4 songs which includes a unique take on The Allman Brothers "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed".  The Gram Bass recordings consist of Dan Groth on Guitar, David Mulrennan on Guitar, Johnny Becker on Bass and Organ and Trevor Haining on drums.  They are badass and I hope you enjoy

I was in North and South Carolina last week to record a new album with Ryan Sheffield and his band!  It was a lot of learning and recording packed into a very short amount of time so the week blew past quickly.  They all are great musicians and easy to work with and I'm extremely excited to hear the finished product.  We worked with the fine people over at The Jam Room Studio in Columbia, SC.  Stay tuned for the release in 2013!
