Lumpy is a creative output project by Bryan Highhill.  It also encompasses "Lumpy Recordings" which is recording, production and mixing for various musicians and bands.  If you are interested in working with Bryan please contact him here.

The most recent Lumpy album "Life, Man" was awarded "Best Pop Album" at the 2012 New Mexico Music Awards.  The premiere Lumpy album "From Wilderness Cove"  was a nominated finalist in the 2010 New Mexico Music Awards under the "Best Pop Album" category.  Lumpy also got 2 nominations in the 2011 New Mexico Music Awards in the categories "Best Pop Song" for the song "Worn-Down Verbal Storms" and "Best Instrumental" for the song "Corlogy". Both songs were released on "Life, Man".

Lumpy has also written music for promotional and underwriting announcements as well as various show and theme music for KSFR Santa Fe Public Radio.  Shows include theme music for "Moonwise" with Merrylin LeBlanc, game show theme music on "Mouth Of Wonder" with Stacy Pearl, theme music for the "What's At Stake" series and other radio specials produced by Martha Burk, and theme music/various music for "Seriously Funny" a comedy radio series written by Ron Bloomberg.  Before using the moniker Lumpy in 2008, Bryan released 3 full-length albums and some random EPs under the name "Bryan Rock".  The albums were "Hmm... That's Weird You're Fat" in 2004, "Songs That Famous People Stole From Me" in 2006 and "Crucial Bomb" in 2007.

Currently Bryan is writing for and playing with the Minneapolis based band "Noogies".  As well as various other projects around the Twin Cities. 
Bryan also wrote music and performed with the Minneapolis based band "The P. Lacquers" from 2002-2007.  The P. Lacquers released 2 full-length albums "Welcome to the World Of Music" in 2004 and "Awkward Party" in 2007.
Bryan graduated from the University of Redlands through the Johnston Center for Integrated Studies and the School of Music with a BA in Trumpet Performance and Creativity in Music.
